About me

Born in Australia, but growing up across the globe, my childhood was spent in places such as New Delhi, Papua New Guinea and Washington DC. From a young age I saw the differences of the world and wanted to share stories on experiences and perspective. I moved back to Australia during my high school years, and from here really started my career.

Hailing from Canberra, Australia’s capital city and a town known for its government sector, it was practically my birth right to dip my toes into the waters of public administration as a senior communications manager.

I then launched into a career in editorial at HerCanberra, Canberra’s leading online and print magazine for women.

I found the sweet spot between my obsession with fitness and my love of writing, and was graced with the responsibility of launching, and subsequently managing the websites health and fitness section - ‘ACTIVE’. It was here that I grew the sub brand from the ground up, leading the onsite content, writing feature articles for a range of health and wellness clients, and conceptualising and executing the quarterly event ‘ActiveDay’ which brought together a community of women from across the city,

Now, I’ve left my editor position to dive into the bright, bracingly fresh waters of freelancing.

I’m an experienced Editor with a background in the online media industry. I’ve worked both with in-house brand marketers, niche publications, large consumer brands and with advertising agencies to provide targeted communications through editorial content and marketing.

I’m a storyteller with a proven history of creating compelling content for brands that drives results.
